Thanks for your interest in Contigo! For the Contigo Superior 20-oz Travel Mug, drinks stay hot up to 6 hours and cold up to 12 with THERMALOCK™ Vacuum Insulation. The Superior opens on both sides of the lid, so whether you're a righty or a lefty, you'll be able to get a handle on your morning coffee and sip in comfort.

They will still have ice at 5:00pm after you put your iced beverage in it at 7:00 or 8:00am.  I have never had a problem with drinking out of the lid, nor have I heard any of my family say they have a problem with it.

I love the design of this CONTIGO travel mug, 20 oz. for a few reasons. It keeps my coffee hot for a while. The snap lid screws on tight and prevents spills. the size holds an amount of coffee to get me through the morning. But my #1 reason for loving this design of mug is THE HANDLE. I am a disabled adult and need a walker to get around. The CONTIGO mug with the handle fits perfectly over the handle of my walker so I can genuinely travel with my mug! I am grateful for this design because it works for/on my walker. Thank You CONTIGO!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Contigo 20 oz Superior SnapSeal mug is an exceptional mug around the house, in the office, and on the road. The stainless steel keeps whatever I am drinking hot or cold for hours, and at 20 oz, there's plenty to drink. The SnapSeal lid is also fantastic to have when our cats like to knock over drinks around the house. The handle is easy to hold and provides an excellent grip to control the flow. The mug is also easy to clean, thanks to the stainless steel. Thanks to the narrow profile, this mug should fit into nearly any cupholder without issue. Overall, I would buy another mug just to have a spare or one to share. It's my new go-to mug!

A Fantastic Travel Mug

this item works better than expected - I can put ice in it with water and the ice is still there 24 hours later and the water is wonderfully refreshing and not hot no matter how long i leave it my hot vehical

Bought 2 of these for my husband with MS;  while standing he has to keep one hand on his walker @ all times to prevent falling.   He can hook this handle over his walker and walk to the fridge for cold water which stays cold for a very long period.  It is also sturdy enough when he sets it on his end table,  he is not likely to knock it over when he reaches for it.  With it being stainless steel it keeps the water tasting fresh like fresh water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best travel mug ever! In the morning I fill it with my coffee. It's larger than the standard tumbler so it fits all of my coffee and allows a bit of room for creamer. The seal really works, I've tried to get it to leak and it won't. My coffee stays hot in here for hours then too, but the mug stays cool to the touch. Once my coffee if gone I rinse it out and use it for ice water. The coffee flavor is not retained, and then the mug keeps my water cold for hours. It's the perfect combo of a coffee mug and a water bottle- I need another one for my husband so we don't fight over it!

Perfect travel mug!

This is my 4th one in 5 years.  BEST MUG ON THE MARKET.  Fits any cupholder, seals perfectly,  durable, excellent insulating.  

And the HANDLE IS ESSENTIAL because I take it everywhere, and often have other stuff to carry.... just takes one extra finger to carry, or you can hang it on a gym bag, tool bag, or grocery bag.  When it is sealed and never leaks.  One finger to seal, may take two to open.  It gets a beating every day, and after about a year it still looks pretty good, just want to start fresh.   The picture is of my 1  year-old mug, which I'm keeping because my daughter personalized it (Papa, the man, the myth, the legend) with the new one in the foreground.   I bought 3 this time... would hate for Contigo to stop making this model.

This is my 4th one.  Best mug on the market.

Best cup ever!!!

I just purchased it from a big brand store. Nov2023 Black Friday. Great thermo 20 oz tumbler mug with handle, keeps things hot and cold, for long periods of time. And does not leak. But, only reason a 4 star is because the lid does not tighten to a spot to sip the drink at a comfort spot. I wasn't too keen on the lid design at first. My nose is not big, but you definitely need to tilt your head back to drink more than a sip from it. Definitely design as a sipping lid. I was hoping I could put a straw in it, to help keep my head up. But, no. I understand that it is a state of the art unique design to keep it leak and spill proof. But, not sure if it will hold up for the long haul. The soft rubber sealing plug, seems to be kinda thin. I actually bought a 20 oz tumbler from another big brand store, and the lid does the same thing, on this mug, too.

I would have given a 5 star rating, But because it has recently failed to live up to the hype of keeping hot beverages hot for 7 hours, I am lucky I get 4 hours now. it seems as though that whatever was inside that insulated the mug, has, after time (so many times of heat) has dissolved, melted away, some how disintegrated. I now have to drink my coffee faster than I used to. I am reluctant to buy another with thought of the way manufacturing goes today... they keep you coming back. Not a fan of this

Contigo snapseal leak proof 20 oz travel mug

Love this brand and mug, but after a month of daily morning use the lid has started leaking and the seal won't stay in place.  Guess I need to find a replacement seal or lid.  Great mug despite the lid problem
