I haven't given this to my granddaughter yet so I can't say if the makeup is messy and comes off easily.  However, I was disappointed in the appearance of the case.  The outside had tiny scratches all over the front and back making me think it was used.  The makeup and applicators looked new but the designed paper appliqué on the inside was wrinkled and very noticeable and the mirror was smudged as if it had been opened and handled.  Perhaps it was returned for the same reasons.  If I could drive I would return it.

Disappointed in appearance of container

if i could give no stars i would, arrived and some of the eyeshadow is broken, cant find a way to contact seller to initiate refund, and it honestly just looks junky in person! NOT worth the money!

I was expecting powered makeup, only the middle was powdered the rest were gel. this is messy for little kids to apply and requires soap to remove. I was very disappointed, also the mirror is not good, it is a reflective surface but not a mirror.
