    Excellent colored pencils! 😍
High quality pencils, a variety of colors, perfect for "nature" as there's a good amount of greens, browns, greys, and yellows; a few shades of reds, oranges, pinks, and purples; 1 silver, 1 gold, 1 black, and 1 white. I am using them for my Disney's Thomas Kinkade coloring book and they are turning out great👍🏼. Highly recommend them, especially when you pair them with dual-tip markers to help the colors pop. Make sure to get a good quality pencil sharpener so your colored pencils last longer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for both beginners and professionals, so much fun to draw with!
Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2023
I love the color selection, I love the creaminess and the richness of the pencils. I drew this bee with prismacolors using only colors that were in the 72 set. When you are drawing with prismacolor vs random other cheaper brands, you can tell, as it is so much easier and more satisfying to lay color down. It's a good pencil for laying down a lot of color over a broad area and it is nicer and more forgiving if you're someone who likes to use more pressure when blending. You can still get great bold colors and great blending without needing 10-20 slow light layers (though it's always best to work in layers until you're ready for the final colors). Even after burnishing I can often still get a bit of extra color on top with prismacolors. Their white pencil is also very nice and opaque compared to other top tier colored pencils. The only main downsides are they are not the most lightfast pencils (if you want to sell drawings, but for me I mostly draw for fun/practice so it's no problem) and also since they're so nice and soft they have to be sharpened often because having a nice sharp tip is very important for colored pencil drawing. Some people complain that prismacolors are prone to breaking easily, and I have found that when using the AFMAT electric sharpener (also on Amazon), it makes a perfect point every time without any breakage so far.

If you want to truly ENJOY making art, these are worth the investment. Like I have a huge set of cheaper colored pencils and they're nice, but the prismacolors just physically feel sooooo much nicer and more fun to draw with, like they will improve your enjoyment of making the art as well, and I will go back to them every time. If you have only been drawing with something like crayola or inexpensive brands all your life, try prismacolor, you don't even have to do the entire 72 pack, but just see how they feel to draw with, and you might rediscover how much you love drawing with colored pencils.

Reviewed in Italy on May 9, 2019

5.0 out of 5 stars Me han llegado los originales, muy buena calidad de los lápices.
Reviewed in Spain on May 7, 2019
