I have to start with a couple of ice cubes to cool my coffee enough to drink it.  Stays warm for 4 hours.  I add sweetener, ice, and cream and then fill with coffee.  Screw the lid on, seal and shake.  I've had my (rare stainless) 20oz snapseal for 2 years, never leaks.  Bought my wife and daughter each a 16 oz last year.

Second photo is of failed leaky mugs.  Yes, the Contigo Autoseal didn't make the cut.  It was a leaker the day it was born. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Truly a leak proof coffee travel cup

One of the best coffee travel mug I've ever purchased. I use to carry a Starbucks 20 oz travel mug that cost me a fortune, double what I paid for this 24 Oz Snapseal and the coffee only stayed hot for about an hour or so. I'm ex-military and very hot coffee is the most important thing to me first things in the
morning, I couldnt run my motorpool without it Not only does it keep my coffee piping hot, but the design of this mug is extraordinary with its Snap lock lid. It goes anywhere and everywhere I go. If you want a great travel mug at a great price this is the one. My wife and I even looked at Yeti mugs recommended by a lot of our friends. This 24oz Snapseal travel mug surpasses both Yeti and Starbucks mugs in my mind hands down. You won't be sorry with a purchase of one of these travel mugs.

24 Oz Snap Seal

I went through a dozen travel mugs and this one was easily the best. Doesn't leak and it's strong and it keeps my coffee hot from 7am to near noon while I'm working at my desk. That's all I wanted and it works.

Best coffee mug

I like the bottle size, the temperature of my cold drinks and the ease to open.  However, I don't know when but the red ball that seals the Snapseal fell off.    How can I get back one to reattached?  When I was researching to make my purchase, the video  said no small parts.  This was quite misleading as an integral small part renders the mug useless in terms of leakproof.

Small Part Lost, No more Leakproof

Up until today, my travel mug was by my side all day always. Then it tragically took tumble as I was getting out of the car & the lid cracked and leaks now :( rip 
Besides that I loved that I could pour my coffee fresh in the morning and by lunch it's still almost too hot to drink! And keeps cold stuff cold very well too but poor quality plastic

Fragile lid

My wife and I have 1 auto seal that works great but We have 6 contigo snap seal but only 3 Lids are still usable . They are amazing until the seal pops out of the Lid and is no longer spill proof and very hard to put the seal back in I haven't figured out how.. My most recent purchase last month came out after 3 weeks of using it.. 2nd guessing all of my purchase of contigo now unfortunately

It's a Love Hate relationship with my contigos

I bought 20 oz snap mug about a month ago. It works great until last night it leak thru. I fixed the o ring and still leaks. My friends had the same problem so I'm not happy about that.  They need to improve the oring.

I was happy but not anymore.

It was a gift from my wife. That's why the value of the cup was much higher for me than its price. And it very, i mean very very, disappointing, when it broke on a second day of use. (
So, i don't recommend you to buy it.

I have 4 of the 24oz style mugs and despite hand washing them, the paint has completely peeled/chipped off and made them look like garbage. Two of the mugs have been leaking, and regardless of how many times I push the seal back into the lid, it does not want to stay. 
With how many contigo products we own, I am very disappointed with the quality of them.
