My four year old son loved this toy before we even got it out of the package. He couldn't wait for me to put it together. As soon as I got it together he started playing with it and he played with it for over an hour! It is easy to use and understand and what four year old boy doesn't like cars? My nine year old son even joined in on the fun. My four year old has played with this toy every day since he received it which is a win in my book. It was also very easy and quick to put together. I got this for my two boys (ages 5 and 8) as they are obsessed with all things related to the movie Cars. This set is perfect because it comes with two mini racers! 

It was easy to put together, and easily comes apart for more compact storage. My oldest can put it back together without needing help.

I love that this toys allows them to play together, and they totally use their imaginations while their racers compete. 

Lastly, I love that this toy helps with accuracy and aim. They have to line up the launcher to get their car to the part that sends the racer around the track. They both love cheering each other on when they make their car go around the track! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Such a FUN Toy!

So far so good! We had a minor issue with another Cars track, the button kept breaking. Mattel customer service worked their magic! We received this product as a replacement and so far my son loves it. He loves that he can 'aim' the cars to different trophies. We have had a little difficult getting the back track to drop when striking the large trophy, but I think that's due to the fact that we don't have extra mini racers to add weight to the second level track. We will be purchasing more racers soon and will update. 
Set up was simple and quick. The structure of the track seems sturdy. This little boy is beyond happy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Withstanding the toddler-test

We received this more than a week ago my 6 year son is loving it, in his words it's much more simple than another style/name brand toy with a bungee style release and go system. With this one you just set the car in the shooter push the button and the car goes. We love that it is not huge but does have different playing modes. You can shoot targets to the right, shoot 1 single target up a slide or shoot around the main long slide. It also has a few parking garages for the 2 cars it came with and a main draw catcher in the front that opens and closes. I do like the accessories that are removable for the lil ones  such as the flag and cone in the middle of the path. Overall I think this is a great toy for younger boys it's super easy to handle definitely with out an adult. A must for Cars lovers in general I can't believe we didn't know about this toy sooner. Super easy for kids

My 8 yr old son loves the raceway set.  It is easy to set up and figure out how everything works.  The pieces attached to the track are a little on the flimsy side so I am not sure how long they will last with lots of play, but the cars are high quality.  My son's only complaint is with only two cars, you have no spectators to release when you "win" the Piston Cup. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Loads of Fun but need more Mini Racers

Disney Pixar Cars mini racers are so cute and very durable. They fit in the hand of my child so well. He loved to play with them for hours at a time. Raceway Playset was easy to assemble and the instructions are very easy to understand as a parent. For kids its a little more for them so they need help. My son had a great time playing with the mini racers rollin around on the raceway, my older son even joined in to play and they had fun together. One thing I will point out that the raceway is not sturdy and was falling apart every once in a while when they played to rough. My son loves anything Cars and has enjoyed the raceway playset  a lot. He was smiling and screaming I won at the top of his lungs, which makes me happy to see he is having fun. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Fun!

Mattel

Build is quick and easy with great visual directions down to the placement of the stickers! Love how it's comes with two cars for an actual race and on the bottom a little tray pulls out to store the cars. The blue pieces continuously pop out, there should have been a better way to secure the two piece together, if pressure is applied it can separate. The “blast off” part should have been easier for a child to smash because it needs force it makes a loud noise especially on wood floors. It could have a little but more to it, only kept my sons attention for about an hour, he got frustrated because the cars would fly off he gave up on the track and played with the cars. Quick fun

Personally, I consider it a waste of money. One of the yellow legs that supports it kept falling off. The blue piece above where you put the cars to launch them also keeps falling off. The launcher really doesn't work. It's very hard to get a car up the ramp and around the designated loop. My son likes to just pretend to drive the cars around the toy, but I'm pretty disappointed in the quality of it.

I wish this was solid one piece plastic construction.  The pieces come apart easily and the launcher is very fickle.  Press too hard, cars fly off, press to soft, cars can't make t to the ramp. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
