I bought this toy for my four year old grandson who is obsessed with monster trucks.  He plays with it every day and even took it to pre-school for "Show and Share"! I plan to get him a few more monster trucks to go with it.

Lots of fun!

My 4 year old and my 8 year old both love this toy!  They are all about monster trucks and sharks, so both combined was awesome!  It was easy enough to put together that my 8 year old put it together by himself! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My kids love it!

We received the monster trucks mecha shark face off playset for my 5 and 7 year olds. It was easy to put together and they were ready to play in a matter of minutes. They loved battling against each other to get their truck into the trophy. My 5 year old says the best part is the shark that sweeps the “loser” truck out of the stadium. This playset kept them entertained for a long time and they come back to it every day or so for more battles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

High flipping fun

My son loved playing with this for a good hour. It is hard to get the truck onto the platform that triggers the shark to spin. It has to land on it perfectly. Other than that he enjoyed launching the trucks. There are 2 launchers so 2 kids can play. We werent able to figure out what the other platforms do.

My 5 1/2 year old daughter really loves this toy. However, it took a while to break in because the shark wouldn't trigger as it should when a truck would be released into it. It took several dozen plays with the toy, to loosen the shark properly. The tracks all loosen with usage and from time to time, you need to pop them back into place. 

With that being said, overall it's a fun game to play with. She likes the trucks, though one of the trucks it comes with, is very light. But, it did prompt us to go purchase a few more die cast monster trucks from the Hot Wheels line.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mecha Shark Face-Off

My six year old son was super excited to receive this. Initially it was really fun to play with and he liked it but quickly grew tired of it. It basically does the same thing over and over. He really enjoyed the shark aspect of the toy. For the toy to work successfully the trucks have to be pretty light and that in turn made them lower quality. Fun for a little while

I received the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Mecha Shark Face-off Play Set for free in exchange for a review a few weeks ago. My 4 year old son was so excited to play with it, he started putting it together before I had it all out of the box.  It was fairly easy and quick to assemble.  The first bad thing was that my son was upset that it showed trucks on the packaging that it did not come with, but I know that is fairly normal with any toy.  It was fun to play with for a little while.  My son laughed at the shark spinning around.  It was so hard to get the shark activated with a truck.  Especially the one that was lighter.  Maybe an older kid could do it better, but even my husband and I had trouble.  For some reason the shark wouldn't spin anymore.  My son hasn't touched it since.  I tried the shark again, and it seems to be working.  The trucks themselves are fine, and fun to play with.  I wouldn't recommend this playset. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
