Customers like the ease of use and style of the toy gun. They say it's very fun to use and an awesome toy. They also mention that it'll look great on their Nerf tactical rails. However, some customers feel the value of the product is not worth the plastic it'd be built with nor the price.

Averages whatever FPS you are capable of throwing a foam ninja star; foam “sock” holster attachment.

Averages whatever FPS you are capable of throwing a foam ninja star; foam “sock” holster attachment.
This “TwinSlice” underbarrel foam throwing-blade holster attachment is cool and innovative like it’s sibling attachment part, the “ChopStock,” and matches the Nerf Scravenger in both ideology and aesthetic. It can be attached to Nerf tactical rails such as those found on Nerf blasters. My initial thought was that this was going to be another dangerous bayonet melee weapon attachment that is going to be too close in proximity to hard plastics to be safe. But I was wrong. Instead I found that the blades were facing inward towards whatever it attaches to sticking out sideways at an angle. So it is designed as a holder, not a striking weapon. The user can pull out a blade and throw it if need be. This was done on purpose with the intent that the user will use the foam saw blades like a frisbee throwing weapon if need be, like a ninja-star. The blades are not free-spinning or trigger-activated like the ZombieStrike Crosscut or Brainsaw, but they are manually spin-able as they pivot around a cleverly angled divot inside the TwinSlice attachment. This divot keeps the foam disks held secure enough in place so that the foam does not fall out even if the attachment is mounted upside down and vigorously shaken; The entire attachment will fall off before the disks fall out. That said, I cannot stress enough the danger this product poses if used improperly as a melee (striking) weapon, even if it looks like you can mount it sticking out from under the front barrel. Due to the hard plastic in close proximity to the foam it holds, it will never be a safe melee weapon and can hurt if used (especially in-the-heat-of-the-moment) by inexperienced users. But since the TwinSlice is designed as a weapon-holder instead of a bludgeon, I can happily recommend this “sock” holster attachment. In the official game of “Humans Vs. Zombies” (or HVZ), Humans are allowed to use actual sock-balls to throw at Zombies (people playing, as the zombie role). The TwinSlice has soft and light foam disk blades that flies like a frisbee, so it functions like an advanced “sock.” In conclusion, I love the creativity and safety that this product brings to the game. There is no doubt that this will heighten the fun in pretend play. I see clearly that there were opportunities to make the product automated by designing it to spin, as the chains on the shell aesthetic suggests, but I am pleased that they kept it simple in it’s primary function as an advanced throwing “sock”-holder. In my humble opinion, it does what it was designed to do. I will give this product five stars. I know others will disagree with me, but honestly, if it did spin, that would only encourage it to be used in an unsafe manner. Now if it launched... well, I will leave that idea for the Nerf engineers to play with.

4.0 out of 5 stars Makes sights useless, but great for bottom rail or unsighted blasters
Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2019
Originally I’d bought this as a fun bayonet for my Raider CS-35, but as I am also planning on attaching a sight, a quick glance told me the Twinslice was not the right fit for that blaster.
However, for a blaster with a bottom rail (like Rey’s blaster), or one you don’t plan on using with a sight, this fancy foam frisbee holder is a great fit.
