Works as well as you would expect a bath toy to work. Wind up is easy, but it only swims for about 5 seconds or so. Which is what I expected. For more swim time, I think toys like this would need a battery (and I'm glad that isn't the case with this. I didn't something that took batteries).

My son loves it! Super cute tub toy!

It's cute. And once you wind the little fins up it does swim in the water.

My grandbabies love this windup swimmer. It swims in the water. They love it!

Great Swimmer Toy!

My four year old granddaughter just loves this Swimming Penguin. It is super easy to wind up even for her little hands. It has a nice smooth feel to it with no sharp edges so I don't have to worry about her getting poked or scratched. She loves winding it up and watching it float and I love that there are no small parts that she can put into her mouth. This cute penguin is a great addition to her other tub toys. I highly recommend this tub toy.

I bought this for my 8-month-old grandson to play with in the tub.  He plays with it whenever he sees it.

unfortunately this toy broke the very first time we used it.

The wings do wind-up as they should, but they barely unwind and so it does not swim. My 3 yr-old was excited to get this toy because our neighbor has it, but it doesn't work. She is disappointed; as am I.
