Good product.  Reasonable price.  Easy on the mouth and taste buds unlike some other whitening pastes.  However, may not be as effective a whitener as others with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.  Interestingly I read in Consumer Reports on Health in a column by a dental school professor that none of these so called whitening paste stay on your teeth long enough to have any measurable effect.  He recommended using a paste that tastes good.  I use a whitener from my dentist weekly to get the whiteness I want.

Good product.  Reasonable price

I have used Pro-Health Whitening toothpaste for years and noticed it tasted different a few months ago. I threw out a few tubes thinking it was a bad batch or was environmentally compromised during shipment. Also started wondering if my taste buds were changing as i get older or if I had Covid, but food and drink still tasted fine. Now, reading the reviews, it appears the flavor was intentionally changed, it is absolutley disgusting. Three tubes I just bought last week are going in the trash and I am going to a different brand.

New Formula Sucks

I usually love this toothpaste and have been scared of it being discontinued or a flavor change. It's happened. I restocked and noticed the packaging had been updated but still had the same words. The color is the same as well. But once using it, THE FLAVOR IS DIFFERENT. It left a strong aftertaste that the old one never did. I was so sad they changed the formula…. Hopefully I can find another toothpaste that tastes the same as the old formula. I'm very sad.

Taste Changed with New Packaging

I'm never one to write a review on something, but I have been using this toothpaste for as long as I can remember, specifically because I loved the taste. It had a specific spearmint kind of flavor and was the only toothpaste I consistently relied on. However in the past six months or so, they changed the flavor to a super strong peppermint flavor without any warning or acknowledgment on the packaging! I thought I just kept buying the wrong kind of toothpaste, or that I was crazy until I came here and read other reviews also talking about the change. I won't be buying this anymore, which is so upsetting considering I used to buy only this toothpaste for years solely because of the flavor. I'll be searching for a new gel that tastes more like the old formula :((

The Flavor Has Changed!!

This Crest toothpaste version is awful. The viscosity is jelly-like. The cap fails to snap shut which allows an ooze of toothpaste to escape, making a further mess. Toothpaste is too sweet and gritty (feels like brushing teeth with candy). Never buying this again! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Why did you change the flavor? This was out of stock for awhile @ my local Walmart. I was so excited to find a few boxes on the shelf during my last visit. But when I used it that evening, the flavor was way different than what it used to be. I loved this toothpaste b/c of the fresh spearmint flavor & how clean my teeth felt after using it. Now its more of a peppermint flavor & my teeth don't feel as clean as with the previous version. I'll be searching for another toothpaste closer to the original flavor.

Why change the flavor?

I have been using Crest Pro Health Whitening for years. I used to love the toothpaste gel.  Worked great and the flavor was perfect. Unfortunately, I noticed that with my most recent purchase of this product a week ago, the flavor is completely different.  Rather than the light mint flavor, it has a new overly strong peppermint flavor that is a real turn off.  The packaging changed slightly and a new amino acid was added but the flavor is completely different.  Why did Crest do this?

We've been using this toothpaste for years. Bought it recently and the formula changed! E we can't stand it now! Sad we have to search for a new toothpaste. Not happy with Crest for this change.

Not Happy!

This was the only toothpaste I have used for years!! I just bought a new two pack and it is a completely different taste! I am very sensitive and can't use this new formula. Why would it change!?!
