Are these pencils refillable? I don’t seem to find a way to do it. It would be so wasteful to throw them away once the lead is used up.

These are the best pencils to own if you can never find a sharpener. My girls like to use them because of the sleek colors .

School pencil choice

I love these BIC Xtra-Precision Mechanical Pencil, Metallic Barrels.  The lead is strong and yet makes a fine enough line to look professional.  The 2 extra leads in the barrel are a nice touch and the various colors are fun.

These pencils do not appear to be of the same quality of Bic manufacture that I've bought previously. The lead breaks easily, and is not "held" in the cartridge as firmly. And it does not have the feel of #2 lead.

If you want pencils that write easily, with dark pencil marks you can see and read, and lead that won't break every 2 seconds...then DON"T BUY THESE!
