I received The Fishing game through Spark Review program. The game requires 2-4 players. It comes in a blue pond with 21 plastic fish. Four plastic poles with a bent area to catch your fish. The game requires a C battery that isn't included. Once the battery is placed in the top of the game there is a switch to turn the game on which the pone will turn in circles and ready for your child to start fishing. Each player will have their turn to see how many fish can be caught and the one with the most fish will win the game. This game recommended for ages 3 and up and it does contain small parts. The game is well put together and well thought out and a great Christmas or birthday gift for siblings or for friends that may be staying over. My two granddaughters that are five years old really enjoy catching the fish, they do spend right at an hour or so playing the game. The fish come in Green, Yellow, Blue and Red that helps with learning colors, ability of learning and counting skills along with fun sharing time. I do recommend this game to entertain all children above the age of three. Sharing and learning is a big plus for me in our home with our grand babies.

The kids love the game. We have lots of little ones (ages 5 and under), and we like to find things for them to do that do not always involve electronics. So finding games for little hands that are age appropriate is always on our to-do list. I was excited to let them try this game because I thought they would have fun trying to ‘catch' the fish. We did have to help the 3 year olds play, but after a few games they got the hang of it. Each kid got to choose their favorite color. Then they used the rods to catch the fish of the same color. The game gives multiple ways to play the game, but since our kids are younger, we just encourage them to catch the fish that is the same color as rod they had chosen. The game works fairly well. I did notice some of the fish do not open up their mouths as much depending where they are placed in the pond. This makes it a little more difficult for smaller kids to get the rod in the fish's mouth. They did get frustrated so we just moved the fish to a better position. The game is not very quiet but neither are the kids when they are playing so it's not that bad. It's not a bad game at all. Our children enjoy playing, and we enjoy watching and helping them play. It would make a great addition to any family's game stash.

Fun for Kids

This was something I thought my grandkids would like. Do they ever! It's fun!
 I enjoy playing it with them. It's a great game for everyone, not just kids.

So much fun!

This fishing game is still a classic and quite a lot of entertainment even for my five-year-old granddaughter. She enjoyed trying to catch the fish, but some of them were tough to catch since there are no magnetic parts so the “fishing person” needs to line up the mouths of the fish to the pole. Understand there are some fish that seem to open and close their mouths faster in other parts of the circle. Some of the mouths don't open wide enough to put the plastic stick in. The sticks did not have a string on them like other fishing game versions we've had. The poles have perpendicular sticks so it is a rigid fishing experience. But the fish do keep going around and around still making it a challenging task. All in all, the game keeps kids busy for a good time and it is a fun game. This is a battery operated game so not a wind-up experience, which is 10 times better. The battery is not provided, but it takes a C type battery, so it's good to have one handy if you buy this as a gift. For the most part, I would recommend it as a good motor skill game for preschool-aged children.

This is a great game to develop hand eye skills for young children it is full of great colors and will result in hours of fun play for the kids smiles galore

This is a great game

My son loves this fishing game. He has played with it everyday since we got it. This game is great for the 4 plus age group and is helping with his fine motor skills. It comes with 4 "poles" so more than one person can play at a time.

Love the fishing game

This is very similar to the fishing game that I played as a kid, but made more cheaply. The fishing rods are plastic with hard, plastic fishing line, with a hook attached to the end. You have to try to catch the fish by getting the hook caught on the fish's teeth as it opens and closes its mouth. My 3 year old really enjoys playing with it, but it's a little difficult for him.
The game does not come with batteries and you will need a screwdriver to install them. 
The game has 4 fishing rods and a place to store extra while you are playing. 
I would not recommend this game if you are sensitive to noise. The sound of the fish opening and closing their mouths is somewhat loud and repetitive.

Classic Kids Game

I used to play for hours on end with the fishing game but the difference is those times the fishing game had a magnet on the tip and the fishes had a dot of metal so the magnet could pick up the fish, it was AWESOME!..but sadly this fishing game didn't even last a day. My 5 and 3 year old got frustrated cause they couldn't get the fish , then when he did the fishing pole tip came off , not breaking off, but slipped off the pole. It comes with 4 poles but Not cool when pieces slid off and a fish fell on the hardwood floor and broke the fish has so minus one fish. Sadly made.

Nostalgic

The fishing game is still my favorite since I was 6 years old, I wanted one to play with my kids.
What I like about this toy is the colors, my toddler enjoyed sorting the fish by colors, and take out one color at a time. it is really challenging and not easy to catch a fish.
The only issue with this toy that it is made of a cheap quality plastic, we received it with a broken fish and now after a week 3 fish are broken.

Nice game but cheap quality

This toy uses C cell battery which is not convenient at all. Most toys use AA or AAA. Instead of going out of my way to get C cell battery, I returned it and got a similar fishing game that uses AAA.
